ALVA'S CHAKRAVYUH

Alva’s Institute of Engineering and Technology, Mijar, Moodbidri organizes CHAKRAVYUH, inter-disciplinary techno cultural inter collegiate competitions in its campus. This event is a platform to encourage students of all disciplines to exhibit their talents and skills. Competitions in this event include adventure sports, dance, music, fine arts, management, literary along with technical events like paper presentation, workshops and expert talks.


VTU YOUTH FEST - CHAKRAVYUH 2016

The 16th VTU intercollegiate youth cultural festival - Chakravyuh was held on 7th to 10th May 2016. This university level fest was a 4 day event which had 25 cultural events in the field of music, dance, dramatics, fine arts and literary, inaugurated by Mr. Nagathihalli Chandrashekar, a well known Director, Actor and Producer. More than 2,500 students from 86 engineering colleges affiliated to VTU actively participated in the event. Fusion concert by Bala Bhaskar was organized during the fest. Along with the cultural events Chitrotsav a short film competition was held during the fest which had attracted many professionals and student short movies throughout South India.

Chakravyuh’ 14

The first edition of the Chakravyuh was held on 4th, 5th, 6th, April 2014. It was a 3 day event which had more than 100 events inaugurated by Mr. Nagathihalli Chandrashekar, a well known Director, Actor and Producer. More than 2,000 students from 80 colleges throughout the country actively participated in the event. The main attraction of the event was a concert by India’s No.1 band “EUPHORIA”. Also There were events like Motorig – an auto expo, Arcadia – a spot game zone, infamous comedies, Hogathon that all added up spice to the fest. The event was witnessed by more than 10,000 external audiences.
