Alva’s Deepavali – 2015

Alva’s Deepavali was celebrated with pomp this year, with more than 600 artists participating from all over World. It comprised of professional artists along with students of Alva’s education foundation who performed sundry cultural dances and music performances. It was a cultural delight to everyone accumulated there.

Alva’s Deepavali 2015 was held at Vivekananda Nagar, Puttige. More than twenty five thousand people were present at the venue. 40 troupes performed live at this event. The whole ambience was beautified with colourful lamps which had a mesmerizing effect on the audience.

The audience additionally witnessed sparkling performances from the Srilanka’s Candian dance, Banjara dance of Andrapradesh and India’s got talent winners X1X team artists also participated.

The programme comprised Yakshagana, stick dance, etc from the students of Alva’s. Charukirthi Bhataraka Swamy, Seer of Moodabidre , Jain Basadi and Former Minister Amarnatha Shetty were the chief guests. Chairman of Alva’s Education Foundation Dr Mohan Alva presided over the celebration.
