Dr. Raviraja Shetty was started the guest lecture and he started the session starting from the basic concept of biodiversity and conservation of medicinal plants. The main objective of this talk is to understand the importance of biodiversity and best measures to be taken to conserve the Medicinal Plants in India. At the end of the guest lecture students come to know the importance of biodiversity and conservation of extinct medicinal plants by adopting some of the useful conservation techniques grafting and tissue culture in India. Furthermore, they have come to know about varieties of medicinal plants which is available in our nature and their uses in medicine manufacturing industries and also significance of each individuals of the society to take measures conserve this naturally available medicinal plants resources utmost priority.
