A charitable fund raising event
Alva’s Film Fest charitable movie show is organized by department of Information Science and Engineering Forum “Techgeeks”. The event was held on 5th and 6th of November 2022 to 10th and 11th December 2022 (Six weekends). The main objective is to raise fund for charitable cause by means of entertainment.
The function was inaugurated by Dr. Peter Fernandes, Principal, AIET, in presence of Head of the department Prof. Sudheer Shetty, Forum coordinators Mr. Manjunath H R and Pradeep Nayak, Student Forum President Shivaraj and Secretary Preethi M, All the staff and students were also present for the inaugural function.
The recent popular social concern movies were played on TWO SCREENS during this event and the Amount Rs.1,06,000 collected and donated to International Cultural Jamboree of Scouts and Guides organised at Alva’s Campus, Moodbidri from December 21 to December 27, 2022.
