The Department of Civil Engineering, Alva’s Institute of Engineering and Technology Moodbidri, organized a one-day training program on “Hands-on Training on NDT Equipments” on Wednesday 12th January 2022. The session was conducted by V & G Industrial Testing Laboratories Pvt. Ltd, Mangalore. The technical session was given by Mr. Ganesh T, Quality manager and followed by a hands-on session of rebound hammer and ultrasonic pulse velocity. The students of the 5th semester have participated in this training program. The main objectives of this training program are to assess the quality of concrete in undisturbed conditions.
