A mock hackathon was conducted on 11th September for the students of 2nd & 3rd year B.E. CSE .The program was presided by Dr. Manjunath Kotari, HOD, Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering and Mr. Vivek Sharma, Coordinator, CMANIAX. The HOD addressed the gathering regarding the importance of the hackathon and what is the advantage and importance of participating in the hackathons specially for the computer science students.
The program was focused mainly to make students aware about the type of hackathons they will be facing in the future . The mock hackathon was separately taken for 2nd and 3rd years with respect to the languages they were aware of. The mock hackathon consisted of 2 parts: multiple choice questions and programming questions.
The mock hackathon was concluded with getting the top scorers in both 2nd and 3rd year.
