Alva’s Institute of Engineering & Technology, Moodbidri organized a 2 days(24th & 25th June) “TECHFEST-2022: Technical Events” for all the branches of Engineering. The CSE branch fest was named as TECHNOFIA-2022.
Technofia was branch technical fest conducted by C-Maniax forum of Computer Science Department, AIET. Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Alva’s Institute of Engineering & Technology, Moodbidri organized 2 days Technical Fest “Technofia-2022” The Technofia-22 was organized by C-Maniax – Student Forum for 24th and 25th June, 2022.
The program was inaugurated by Dr. Peter Fernandez, Principal, Dr. Manjunath Kotari, HOD CSE, AIET, President C-Maniax Forum, HODs of all department, C-Maniax members and all the participants from the various branches at 9.30am.
After the inauguration Dr.Peter Fernandez, Principal spoke about” Importance of Technical fests and how to involve in this technical fest during student life. He also encouraged the students to participate in maximum number events. He suggested students to be practical thinking by participating in innovative activities. He quoted about the energy level of the students do thinking and participation in terms of total gain and learnings.
Dr. Manjunath Kotari, HOD CSE, AIET- Spoke about Brief History of Technofia of previous years and highlighted the significance of Technofia -22 Events. Also he advised students to participate in events and get benefitted from it.
There were 5 events which was a collaboration of 4 Technical and 1 non-Technical Events. Total of 790 registrations was there including all events. About 300 students were participated in Various events.
The valedictory program of Technofia was organized on 25th June at 2pm. Winners of all the events were awarded with a cash prize.
The organising of Technofia’22 bought a very good bonding among all students. The event was a huge success in terms of participation from CSE and other branch students. In coming years many more technical and semi-technical events can be added up. Many students from the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th years took the initiative to conduct the particular event with the good participation spirit and with the support of the Management, HOD and Faculties of CSE, AIET.
