Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Alva’s Institute of Engineering & Technology, Moodbidri organized 2 days Technical Fest “Technofia-2023”.
The Technofia-23 was organized by C-Maniax – Student Forum on 30/06/2023 &1/07/2023
The program was inaugurated by Mrs. Shylaja Rao, Founding General Partner, Ventana ventures, Udupi, Mr.Vivek Alva, Managing Trustee, Dr. Peter Fernandez, Principal, Dr. Manjunath Kotari, HOD CSE, AIET, President C-Maniax Forum, HODs of all department, C-Maniax members and all the participants from the various branches at 9.30am.
After the inauguration Mrs. Shylaja Rao spoke about importance of learning new things, Importance of Technical fests and how to involve in this and get benefited from it. She also encouraged the students to participate in maximum number events. Later Mr.Vivek Alva. Managing Trustee addressed the students and motivated them to be the part of events.
Dr. Manjunath Kotari, HOD CSE, AIET- Spoke about Brief History of Technofia of previous years and highlighted the significance of Technofia -23 Events. The main attraction of the tech fest was the Techinical events which helped our students to showcase their knowledge.
After the inguaration, events started at 11AM.There were 9 events which was a collaboration of 8 Technical and 1 non-Technical Events. Total of 1496 registrations was there including all events. About 550 students were participated in the with the Registration fee of Rs. 20(individual).

The valedictory program of Technofia was organized on 01st July at 2pm. Winners of all the events were awarded with a cash prize. With the valedictory function on second day , the program came to an end.
The organizing of Technofia’23 bought a very good bonding among all students. The event was a huge success in terms of participation from CSE and other branch students. Many students from the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th years took the initiative to conduct the particular event with the good participation spirit and with the support of the Management, HOD and Faculties of CSE, AIET.
