Technofia was an inter-collegiate technical fest conducted by C-Maniax forum of Computer Science & Engineering Department, AIET. Technofia gathered all the curious and engineering minds of 13 different Colleges of the various Engineering Colleges of Karnataka.
Technofia-20 provided the platform to showcase student’s talent and technical abilities and gave them recognition.
Technofia-20 was conducted on 10th& 11thMarch 2020 AT AIET main campus.
Technofia-20 was inaugurated by Mr Katamaiah G,Senior Solution Architect Danske IT and support services Pvt Ltd and with the presence of Mr.Vivek Alva, Mr Arun Rajpurohit ,Mr. Srajan das, Dr Peter Fernandes,Dr. Manjunath Kotari, Mr.Harish Kundar ,C-Maniax members and all the participants from the various colleges.
Mr Katamaiah G, is an engineering graduate from JNTU in the year 2005. After his engineering, he kickstarted his career as Java developer in SPAN infotech (now presently known as TietoEVRY India Pvt Ltd) and emerged as Solution Architect after a long stint of 13 years in the same company
During his 13 years with Evry, he contributed to many project development working with global customers. As an architect he contributed to complex monolith transformations . He has been a mentor/trainer for almost 15 batches and worked with fresher’s to mold them into technical experts
After his 13 years of stint with Evry,he joined Danske IT in 2019 to explore diverse industry challenges . In DanskeIT, he is working as Senior Solution Architect to help the bank on their transformation journeys.
Overall he has tremendous experience on Product development,Cloud, Agile,Devops, Recruitment & training
Mr Arun Rajpurohit, is an engineering graduate from rural engineering college Hulakoti in the year 2000. After his engineering, he started his career as contract engineer in Aircraft Research and Design Centre, R&D unit of HAL. With exposure to design, quality and software development, he joined Wipro in the year 2005 as project engineer.
During his seven and half year stint with Wipro, he contributed to many project development working with global customers. Based out in London, he managed Debit Card Management System for one of the largest bank in UK. In the year 2012, he joined SPAN infotech (now presently known as EVRY India Pvt Ltd). As global delivery head for Cards & Payments, he delivered many prestigious projects. He also worked with fresher’s to build some of the innovative solutions such as Digital Teller for Banking sector, Smart Sense for retail sector.
After his 18 years of contribution in Industry, he quit corporate job to work with student’s community and formed DLithe company in the year 2018. Since then he is actively involved with academic institutions towards coaching and mentoring students and laterals. He is also conceptualized two products that are under prototype phase.
There were 14 events which was a collaboration of both Technical and Semi-Technical Events. Around 670 students from various colleges were took part in various events. About 85 students from 13 different colleges participated in various events.

The organising of Technofia’20 bought a very good bonding among all the four batches of Computer Science branch. The event was a huge success in terms of participation from AIET and other college students. In coming years many more technical and semi-technical events can be added up. Many students from the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th years took the initiative to conduct the particular event with the good participation spirit and with the support of the Management, HOD and Faculties of CSE, AIET.
The Valedictory program was held on 11nd March evening to distribute the prizes for winners. The first and second cash prizes for winners of all nine events were distributed by Mr. Vivek Alva, Dr. Peter Fernandes and Dr. Manjunath Kotari.
Overall championship trophy won by students of AJIET.
