Department of Information Science & Engineering was organized a 2 days Workshop on “Women’s Self Defence Workshop” Alva’s Institute of Engineering & Technology, Moodbidri during 5th & 6th March, 2015.
The inauguration of Workshop held on 5th March, 2015. The workshop was inaugurated by Resource Person Ms. Ankita Bane, Military Trained Boxer and Karate, Diplomas Educational Services, Mumbai. Mr. Rahul, Diplomas Educational Services, Mumbai also represented as Resource Person of this workshop. Dr. Peter Fernades, Principal , AIET, Mr. Vivek Alva, Management Trustee, AEF and Prof. Manjunath Kotari, HOD CSE/ISE were present during this inauguration ceremony. About 350 ladies students of the CSE/ISE and ECE department were participated actively & get benefitted this Women’s Defence workshop. All the participants were appreciated this unique kind of women’s defence workshop.
