Alva’s Institute of Engineering & Technology, Moodbidri established an INNOVATION AND WE LAB during 2016. The main objective of this lab tends to be something like, ‘generate new ideas’, ‘fund innovations’, or ‘enhance the use of technology in our programs’. These innovation labs are typically biased towards action, technology, design, and are driven by a desire to start doing something new. An innovation lab is tasked with coming up with new ideas, executing them, and iterating until the idea is fully executed or integrated into the business. Those who work in the lab draw from cross-functional expertise and collaborate to create products and services, often for the parent company.
